Music

26fix has released four singles; A Pickle, Peggy Paradise She Hit Me First, and Stone Killer. These are all part of her much-anticipated debut EP, which will be released in the Fall of 2023. As a concept album, it tells the story of a girl who chokes on a pickle and dies, each song coming from the perspective of each character in the story.  26fix creatively tells a story while simultaneously writing about the most intimate experiences in her life.

Stone Killer

Her new single “Stone Killer” taps into her understanding and experiences with religious patriarchy. Driven by heavy percussion and punchy drums, the song dances from psychedelic trips to funky guitar riffs, reflecting her struggle with the growing pains of learning and accepting new realities. In the first two weeks of its release, Stone Killer hit 200k streams. Featured as number 2 on “Fresh Finds”, number 1 on “Fresh Finds Indie”, and top 10 placements in both “Modern Psychedelic” and “All New Indie” as well as a handful of other Spotify playlists. On Apple, Stone Killer was a major feature on the Zane Lowe show and landed several alternative playlists.
